The Roundup
It is Australia Day eve, and in only a few short hours the nation (and beyond) will be hitting the grills to BBQ for Floods.
Ahead of the big day, we thought we would recap some of the handy guides we have posted. Whether you are just tying up any final loose ends, or you have just remembered you have 100 people coming around tomorrow and haven’t planned a thing, there should be something here to make your BBQforFLOODS excellent.

Or just pass around a hat and ask people to chip in what they can afford.

Loving Lamb?Fancy some lamb for the big day tomorrow? The Main Meal have some advice on how to barbecue lamb to perfection.
Lightly brush the lamb with oil (this stops it sticking to the hotplate).
Preheat the barbecue to hot before adding the lamb. The meat should sizzle as it hits the heat.
Turn the lamb once only (the more you turn the tougher it gets). Let the lamb cook on one side until moisture appears, then turn.
Learn how to tell when your lamb is done. Press the centre of the lamb with either the back of your tongs or fingertip. Rare is soft when pressed, medium is springy and well done is very firm.
Keep the lamb juicy, tender and tasty by allowing it to rest before serving. Place in a warm place and cover loosely with foil for 2 to 4 minutes.
.Not all cuts are created equal.
Some cuts of lamb are better suited to barbecuing.  Try barbecuing lamb cutlets, loin chops, eye of loin/backstrap, tenderloin/fillet, and lamb steaks (round, leg or topside).(Tips and Pic from The Main Meal)
